How the message was created: |
|
As I lay in bed one night in the midst of trying times these words came to me: "A voice came to me in the middle of the night saying rest now relax there's no need for fright". Instantly, I was fully awake and was compelled to write before the words slipped away. As I began writing, a new energy, a positive and healing energy emerged. As the words came to me I felt deeply connected, related and united with my source. I had a peaceful feeling, one I had a vague yet familiar memory of having as a small innocent child before I began gathering experiences in life that I had made mean so much... experiences that somehow had me disconnect from my sense of comfort and serenity.
As I shared my peom with friends it was suggested that I put it in a children's book. People wanted it for themselves and to read to their children, grandchildren, great-grand children and for all the children in their lives. I listened and A Voice Came To Me is about to be announced to the world.
Raul Rodriguez lovingly embraced this project, collaborated with me and masterfully brought my vision to life on the pages of this book through his magnificent illustrations. His artwork represents the innocence of the child that exists in each of us. |
